Bharati Scheme for Andhra Brahmins



Bhramin welfare corporation,( under taken by andhra pradesh govt) is introducing a scheme  “Bharati" for
Brahmin students in Andhra Pradesh.

Under this scheme, prescribed  amount shall be paid to selected applicant according to the level of education through  prescribed process,  as an one time  financial assistance. It is a merit cum means scheme.

Objective of the scheme

To encourage poor Brahmin students to pursue higher education as well as vocational courses, so that they can get jobs according to their qualification.


1. The student and his parents should belong to Brahmin community and reside in Andhra pradesh.

2. Annual income of Parents / Guardian should not be more than Rs. 2,50,000/-
